Jacquie Thomas
Clinical Administrator

Jacquie Thomas (MA, LPC, NCC, CAADC, CCS) came to ATS on Halloween in 2012. She had previously managed the Community Outreach Program for Central United Methodist Church. Her interest in SUD treatment began with that position, as she worked with the homeless and low-resource populations and began understanding the connection between poverty, mental illness, untreated medical conditions and drug and alcohol abuse and dependence. She earned her master’s degree from Western Michigan University in clinical mental health counseling.

She enjoys ATS because of the compassion, empathy and passion of the staff and their willingness to do whatever is best for each individual client, meeting them where they are. She appreciates the openness and collaborative spirit of the agency and the ability to look ahead to the future and not only see what is next, but decide what should be next.

Jacquie is a sixth generation Native Texan who is in a forty-year love affair with Northern Michigan. She loves dance, film, theatre, reading, music and her latest hobby, playing English hand bells for Central United Methodist Church with her daughters, Meagan and Micha.
